Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday January 26, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sauk Rapids for David Abraham, age 55, of Sauk Rapids who died unexpectedly at his home on Friday evening. Rev. Ronald Weyrens will officiate and burial will be at Trinity Cemetery in Sauk Rapids.

Friends may call from 4 – 8 p.m. at Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, Sauk Rapids and one hour prior to services at the church Tuesday. Parish prayers will be at 6 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in Sauk Rapids.

Dave was born March 9, 1954 in St. Cloud to Eugene and Patricia (Sobieck) Abraham. He married Cindy Poepping on December 16, 1989 in Sauk Rapids. He has worked for Granite City Refrigeration and Sheet Metal since 1985. Prior to that he worked at Ace Plumbing and Heating for 13 years. Dave will be remembered as a loyal, honest and hardworking man with a heart of gold who was always willing to help a friend. He enjoyed hunting, working on old cars and spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.

Survivors include his wife Cindy; daughter, Tiffany (Tom) Platz; grandsons, Riley and Carter; parents, Patricia and Eugene; brothers, Kirk, Floyd (Donna), John (Debra) and Mark (Colette) all of Sauk Rapids and many nieces and nephews.
