Funeral Services will be at 12:30 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2010 at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud, for Marie E. Sexauer, who died on Thursday at Country Manor Health Care and Rehab Center in Sartell. Rev. Al Stangl will officiate. Friends and relatives may call from 4-7 PM, Sunday, September 12th at the Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home, St. Cloud and also one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home. A prayer service will be on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. Inurnment will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Wahpeton, ND.

Marie was born to the late Edward and Pauline (Zanzinger) Demoray in Fargo, ND. She married Walter J. Hoppert and resided in Sartell, MN. They later divorced. In 1981 she married Willard W. Sexauer who preceded her in death on May 12, 1986.

Marie was a former member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Waite Park where she also had been a member of the Christian Women. She had been a volunteer and later became the Director of Volunteer Services and Candy Stripers at the St. Cloud Hospital. Following her retirement she had been a long time volunteer at the St. Benedict’s Senior Community, St. Cloud. When she moved to the Country Manor
Apartments, she volunteered her services at the Country Manor Nursing Home.

Marie loved people, traveling and the changing seasons. Marie’s family would like to thank the staff at Country Manor for the wonderful care and services they provided to Marie.

Marie is survived by her children; Marlene Kenny, Edina, MN; Judi (David) Samuelson, Green Valley, AZ; Jean Tipton, Esko, MN; Lynda Landry, Portland, OR; David (Jeanette) Hoppert, Avon, MN; Richard (Merry) Hoppert, Sartell, MN; 15 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and sister, Katherine Ware, Houston, TX. Marie was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Demoray.

Memorials are preferred to the Country Manor Chapel Building Fund, Sartell, MN.
